Libtiff is still offline at remotesensing.org, but there’s a mirror of the source available on GitHub. I held off on mentioning it in this blog till Bob Friesenhahn confirmed it’s reliable.

I didn’t understand the original claim, given that there’s been a mirror of the site at http://libtiff.maptools.org/ and the CVS has been at :pserver:cvsanon@cvs.maptools.org:/cvs/maptools/cvsroot since at least 2004. Were those considered “unreliable” for some reason?
It’s just that if all you have is the link to the main site, it’s hard to find the others. The mirror in my post was the only one I was able to find.
