JHOVE 1.6, the first update in over a year, is out. I announced it to the JHOVE mailing list several days ago, and no one’s reported any problems, so it looks safe to announce in a public forum.
There aren’t many changes considering how long it’s been. A few bugs have been fixed in the PDF and TIFF modules, MIX 2.0 is now the default on output, and the UTF-8 module now knows about Unicode blocks through version 6.0.0.
Just by the way, I’ve fixed my Dublin Core Editor so it now works under Windows. If you grabbed it before and couldn’t get it to run, try again. And next time, please tell me if it’s broken.
